Ya it has got quiet again around here huh? even our new members are MIA. Well you got the mud and we got the snow and cold. Not nearly what the forecast called for as usaul,always making a big ta do and then we get a few inches of snow. It's funny to watch the ppl in the local gracery stores though. They are like rats in a maze all freaking out that they might get"trapped" in their homes lol. The shelves are all cleared out of water and milk and bread crackes me up. But then when no one expects it we get slammed and the news ppl are like whoopsssssss.

I sure do miss my old house on days like these though. I used to have a really nice avalon wood stove and man let me tell ya no worries about staying warm then and you didnt have to worry bout cooking either,we would just cook on the top of the stove. Got a lil crowded when the power would go out though cause the nieghbors would show up on the porch freezin so just another slumber party. Those sure were better days when I could go out and shovel snow and not be laid up for days. I had already had my tailbone removed by then but a blob of flexeril and I was good as new the next day.

Not much going on around here either. Jay called to let me know my new mattress showed up at work so we will get that laid out and give it a try tonight,anything has got to be better then what I am on right now. Already got the calls piling up here with the usual can u babysit and my mom wanting stuff from the store even though I asked her yesterday before the ground was slick and she just didnt need a thing then. Sure wish I could take a nap. Jay can fall asleep at the drop of a hat and I have to be about ready to drop over before I can even fall asleep and then I am such a light sleeper the slightest noise wakes me up Not to mention half the time I just lay there thinking about all the stuff I should be doing cause I know I wont get up later and have it done. I feel like I am walking around in a fog all the time.

I pretty much am used to the new forum now,cept for the spellcheck is super slow and ya have to scan through the top to get the emotioncons so I dont think I will be using as many of those. I am not much for change either unless its to get ppl to get along better and thats always good. I didnt have to have the next best thing as far as electronics go,thats more Jays thing. The problem is we have shelves of stuff that we never use,like the new palm sized cam corder that we have never used or the new digital camera that we never upload the pictures from. It would help if I wasnt so challenged myself in so many ways. With me the problem is that my short term memory is bad since the strokes so everytime I learn how to work a new gadget I forget just as fast and I hate asking for help over and over. Our DVD player went on the fritz the other night so we have been playing movies with the new xbox but for the life of me no matter how many times Jay shows me how to exit the thing I end up in the wrong place with the controller,makes me feel stupid and useless. Well time to get off this thing and get my butt in gear,never a shortage of dishes or laundry or any other chores that need to be done. Take care and maybe you can grab one of those naps yourself.
