Well yesterday I thought I had bounced a few checks because the plan was to disperse my pmts on Sunday then Monday morning run to the bank and drop some funds in so that everything was kosher. Not something new either, butcha gotta do whatcha gotta do, kinda like robbing peter to pay paul while ole ernest sits in a corner waiting for his funds.

I completely and totally forgot about the deposit!!! I remembered the pmts but somehow forgot to make the deposit Monday morning. Then last night I went to pick up my daughter at work and stopped to pick up a few groceries, the usual milk & bread that we run out of during the week quite often. I opened my wallet to pay for my purchase and I'll be damned if that money didn't pop up in my face!!!! OH MAN my heart went ta pounding like I was fighting off a pack of wild animals or something. I KNEW I was had, and each pmt. overdraft of $32 to the bank - thank goodness they generally make good on my withdrawals so I only have to pay them. That's not a lot of money unless your pinching pennies, which is what we're doing with my husband having been off for two weeks.

But alas I got to the bank this morning and NO OVER DRAFTS!!! I was elated!!! Happy as happy can be!!! So freakin happy I walked my big butt right down to the Starbuck's counter and got myself a caramel macchioto (I'm addicted). So, luck was with me this time thankfully. I always complain that my prayers don't get answered, or at least not in a manner in which I approve of...but this time I have to admit that someone was watching over me these past few days. Maybe it was my dad and he didn't want me to have to borrow from my mother Just kidding, I like to throw him in every now and again to keep his spirit alive.

So, no matter what happens today - it will STILL be a very good day for me!! I hope everyone else is able to find a little LUCK today and if not, I hope the sun is shining where ever you may be giving you the strength you need to get thru yet another day of agonizing pain, and the numerous frustrations that come with our every day lives.

I'm going to TRY and go out to work in my flower garden. I want to try and figure out how I got YELLOW iris's when I planted PURPLE ones!!! That's right, this is the 3rd year for them to bloom, the past two years were PURPLE. This year, YELLOW, tons and tons of YELLOW iris's. Their pretty, but how does that happen??? Did that little elf come and plant my garden because he knew I wasn't going to???
