Yesterday was a year since our friend Jim Bristow passed away.

I know Jims friends and family will be thinking about him at this time.
I was just looking back at the messages we all wrote after Jim passed away, I printed them out at the time. There were posts from his friends Paul (Scotia Spirit) and also Angel Weezy, I didnt know them very well myself but they used to post regularly on ocpm. I am just sitting wondering where you guys are, havent seen any of you posting here in a while. Hope you are keeping well, come back and say hi ...Lynne |

Wow, what a wonderful, wonderful post!!!
Yes, the big guy has been truly missed and probably will be for as long as I live and I know for as long as his loving family lives. A true friend, and honest man, a caring soul, and his travels were journeys that we all went on. Barbara's beautiful flower garden, was a challenge for me to ... it made me want to work harder so that my garden could be just half as beautiful. As far as Paul goes, I'm not sure what happened to him. I've inquired a few times but no one else seems to know either. And weezy, she pops in every once in a great while if my memory serves me correctly. Well you go girl!!!! You got your stuff together!!!! I hadn't even realized that it had been one year since we lost our very dear friend and confidant. Thank you!!!! I was not onboard this forum while Jim was here. I have went through his postings and all the pictures. He seemed to be a person that anyone could be a friend of. I am sorry that he is gone but the great times of his life is here for all to enjoy. May be rest in peace.

It's hard to believe it's been a year since BJ left us. I miss him too - and Paul and Weezy. Many others too...I hope maybe we see them again soon. That would be so neat!!

Remember when he'd talk about all of us painers taking a cruise? He would just get me going...And the best part about it is he was serious about it. It was something that he actually looked into, and was going to try and set it up for all of us to have a good time...to make up for all the bad times!!!!
Man, sometimes that man could dream bigger than anyone I've ever known. He could make anything, even the worst situation, turn into the best laugh I've had in a long, long time!!! We use to spend hours upon hours chatting all night long in the old chat room. Seems like a long, long time ago...but then in other ways it seems like just the other day I was talking to him on the phone. Talking about Cyn, I can't remember what the deal was...I just remember he gave me her number (which I already had) and told me to give her a call - and I did. I've been sitting here racking my brains to try and remember what the cause of the conversation was...and for the life of me I just can't. I remember it was when I couldn't get out of bed, I had my millions of pillows proping me up. I can picture it plain as day but can't remember nothing else but him giving me Cyn's number.
