Hello,
I am writing to make contact in regard to a new chronic pain resource that is available for Fibromyalgia and CRPS/RSD patients.
www.fibromyalgia.physiciansforpatients.com
www.crps.physiciansforpatients.com
I was trying to get in touch with someone through the main Our Chronic Pain Condition website, however, it does not seem to be working.
We are a group of doctors dedicated to helping people online in a way to help with high health care costs. The idea is to give a resource to people that need alternative opinions and information. There are a lot of people that have limited access to health care (either uninsured, simply can't afford it, or can't find a specialist in their area). This way it is easier for a smaller number of physicians to help a larger number of people.
Patients, family, and supporters of those with Fibromyalgia or RSD/CRPS can ask a physician specialist any questions they may have. (everything is free)
Dr. Vallance is the Fibromyalgia physician. He trained at the University of Michigan and is board certified in Rheumatology.
Dr. Colantonio is the doctor. He is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He trained at Duke University and Oregon Health and Science University.
We are doing this through a virtual support group. The parent site is www.physiciansforpatients.com. We have a variety of topics, however, our focus is now on fibromyalgia and CRPS (secondary to financial constraints).
I would like to speak to someone about possibly working together, making contact with patient advocates, and to inquire about assistance in helping us spread the word. (We have very limited resources.)
I would appreciate the opportunity to tell your organization more about the project and our origins.
I look forward to speaking further.
Best regards,
Art
